Two ways to raise: on your event website, or EventEase Give (coming soon)

EventEase is a website for your fundraiser. People sign up and pay there.

There is a second idea that looks similar and is not the same thing. One is live. One is coming soon.

Register, then raise is already here. Someone pays to register. They get a page to share. Friends give to your event, in that person’s name. The organization still receives the money. A PTO color run works this way. So does a walk, a dance-a-thon, a school-a-thon, youth sports, or a church campaign.

EventEase Give is a simpler way to raise and share money for a cause — a person, a family, an organization. Give is coming soon. If people are signing up for an event, start with EventEase.

Register, then raise

In EventEase, a registration is a person. When a parent registers Riley and Georgia, those are two people, not a quantity of two. Each one can have a page on the event website.

Every paid registrant can get two links:

• The page to share is public. Friends give here. It looks like the event.
• The private page is for setting a goal, adding a photo, and seeing gifts. That is not the link for the class Facebook group.

You can see raised amounts, goals, and who gave. You can email people their links, attach a gift that came in without a name, and run a report.

When you start an event, you can choose this path. We set up a registration, a donation, and the share pages. You can still add sponsorships later.

What this is not

This is not EventEase Give. There is not a bank account per child. There is not a separate donation website. Gifts stay on the event.

It is also not a “teams competing to sell tickets” program. That is later.
