This Payment Services Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between EventEase, LLC (“EventEase,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the individual or entity using the EventEase platform to facilitate payments for an event (“Event Organizer,” “you,” or “your”).
This Agreement governs your use of payment-related features available through the EventEase platform and is incorporated into and forms part of the EventEase Terms of Service.
By enabling payments or processing any transaction through EventEase, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
EventEase provides a software platform that enables Event Organizers to facilitate payments in connection with events, including donations, registrations, tickets, sponsorships, contests, and event-related purchases (“Transactions”).
EventEase does not provide payment processing, banking, escrow, custodial, or money transmission services.
All payment processing is performed by third-party payment processors selected or authorized by the Event Organizer (each, a “Payment Processor”).
All Transactions processed through EventEase operate under a direct processing model, meaning:
The name appearing on payer statements will be that of the applicable merchant account, not EventEase.
EventEase charges a platform service fee for use of its software and services.
EventEase does not control processor pricing, payout timing, reserves, or account restrictions.
You acknowledge and agree that:
Settlement timing, payout schedules, and fund availability are governed exclusively by the Payment Processor and your account configuration.
EventEase does not guarantee settlement timelines.
Refunds, chargebacks, and disputes are handled through the applicable Payment Processor and are the sole responsibility of the Event Organizer.
EventEase may provide reporting tools but does not assume financial responsibility.
You represent and warrant that:
EventEase does not verify nonprofit status and does not provide tax advice.
EventEase payment features may not be used for illegal activities, misrepresentation, unauthorized gambling or raffles, or activities that violate Payment Processor rules.
EventEase may suspend or terminate access for violations.
EventEase and Event Organizer are independent contractors.
Nothing in this Agreement creates a partnership, joint venture, fiduciary relationship, or agency relationship.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventEase shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from payment-related activities.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
By using EventEase payment features, you acknowledge and agree to this Payment Services Agreement.
