The problem
Sponsorships shouldn’t be this complicated
For many Little Leagues, local business sponsorships are essential to keeping youth sports affordable.
The administrative work can still be overwhelming.
Paper sponsorship forms. Checks arriving in the mail. Logos scattered across email conversations. Volunteers trying to determine who has paid, and which artwork is still missing.
For a small business owner who simply wants to sponsor a team, that process can be just as frustrating.
The challenge isn’t necessarily finding businesses willing to support youth sports. It’s making the sponsorship process easy enough for them to follow through.
The solution
Everything in one place
East Greenwich Little League worked with EventEase to bring its sponsorship process online.
Businesses could visit one website and:
- Browse sponsorship opportunities and pricing.
- Select a sponsorship package.
- Pay securely using credit card or ACH.
- Upload their business logo for banners and recognition.
- Receive an invoice when needed.
For volunteers, sponsorship records, payment information, and submitted logos were easier to manage from one centralized platform. David P., the league’s director of fundraising, has described that path in practical terms: choosing a package, paying by credit card or ACH, uploading a logo, receiving an invoice, and seeing the deposit come through promptly.
Sponsorship packages and logo collection are part of an EventEase event. Invoices stay with the rest of the event on Orders.
- Step 1: Choose a sponsorship
- Step 2: Upload your logo
- Step 3: Pay online
- Step 4: Done
The results
Four campaigns and counting
- Collected across four campaigns
- $58K+
- Sponsors recorded in 2026
- 41
- Sponsorship campaigns on EventEase
- 4
| Year | Gross collected |
|---|---|
| 2024 | $15,364.44 |
| 2025 | $16,903.92 |
| 2026 to date | $25,982.76 |
| Total | $58,251.12 |
These figures are gross paid-order totals. They include any applicable fees and purchases that were not sponsorships. They are not the league’s net proceeds, and they are not sponsorship revenue alone.
The 2026 campaign is still open. The 41 sponsors are the sponsors recorded on that campaign so far — not a count of businesses new to the league, and not a finished season.
East Greenwich Little League has returned to EventEase across multiple seasons, and it has expanded what a local business can sponsor along the way.
What they offer
Real sponsorship opportunities
East Greenwich Little League uses EventEase for more than a single sponsorship package.
Offerings in their EventEase account include:
- Spring and fall team sponsorships
- Field banner sponsorships and renewals
- Scoreboard sponsorships
- Concession stand sponsorships
- Spring training sponsorships
- Opening Day program advertisements
In 2026, their published package prices included $350 team sponsorships, $550 new banner packages, and scoreboard opportunities at multiple price points.
A local business can choose an opportunity that fits its budget and its interest. Not every offering on that list is on sale at the same time.
In their words
David P. on East Greenwich Little League sponsorships
“Working with EventEase has been a game-changer for our Little League sponsorship process.”
“The entire process was smooth and stress-free, from start to finish.”
“We’ve now found a perfect partner in EventEase to streamline our sponsorships, and we look forward to working with them for years to come!”
The bigger takeaway
Make it easier for local businesses to say yes.
Local businesses want to support their communities. Sponsoring a youth sports team shouldn’t require printing forms, mailing checks, and exchanging multiple emails.
EventEase gives organizations a simpler way to offer sponsorship opportunities, collect payments, and manage the information they need.
For volunteers, that means less administrative work.
For sponsors, it means a straightforward way to support the league.
